Sorry for the long delay...

I'm obviously not as good as I would like to be about blogging. Time seems not to be my biggest asset these days. Just to update everyone in case they don't know we are 17 weeks pregnant and expecting another girl! Ella Kate is beside herself and very excited it's not a brother. She has already named the baby "Elizabeth" and Mark and I think we might not be able to change it.



Anyhow, I wanted to do a quick update on our life at the moment. We are going to the beach tomorrow so I will try to post pictures once we get back.

SNOW in Alabama!!!

We can't believe it, it snowed!!! Ella Kate was as excited over the snow which came on January 19th as she was over Santa Claus coming to see her! She and Mark braved the cold to build a snowman. For a brief 4 hours, our yard looked like a winter wonderland.

Santa Claus CAME!!!

Ella Kate really got into "Santa Claus" this year. Emme spent the night with us and was able to get Ella Kate into bed at a decent hour. She woke up that morning and immediently said "where's my cash register?" (which he did not bring...she got it later in the week from MaMaw and PaPaw). She really loved seeing what Santa Clause brought her. The only thing she was upset about was the fact that he didn't wake her up during the night and say "Ho Ho Ho Merry Christmas"!

Christmas with Emme

We hosted Christmas with Emme (my mom), Matt, Stacey, Coleman and Laura Bearden on Sunday before Christmas. Uncle Matt and Aunt Stacey won the prize with giving Ella Kate her "princess dress".

Dance Class

Miss Laura allowed the parents to come watch dance class during the last class of 2007. Ella Kate really showed out for mom and dad! Whatever Miss Laura said to do, she did the opposite! So Ella Kate!

MiMi's 80th at the Dillard House

For MiMi's 80th birthday, the whole Moore clan packed up and headed to the Dillard House in the North Georgia Mountains. It was a fun time by all. Here are pictures of what all we did. Coleman and Ella Kate found them a 20 year horse to ride, Ella Kate caught a fish, and we visited the Highlands, NC (a beautiful place). It was a great weekend!
